The earliest collection date available for a particular cake will be calculated during the checkout process and before payment is requested. If you require a cake outside of these cut-off times, ring the bakery with your query and our staff will advise what options are available.

Stars or flowers are included as standard on all celebration cakes and you can customise your cake to suit the occasion by choosing from a range of finishing touches. These range from small edible images to handmade sugar decorations and two are included free of charge.
Choose up to two from music notes, hurl & sliotar, GAA football, Rubgy ball, soccer boot, sugar printer soccer ball, handbag, heel shoe, lipstick & nail varnish, teapot & cup, mini-sugar tractor, a deck of cards, butterflies, golf bag, small cartoon image.

What is the difference between Chocolate Sponge and Chocolate Maderia?

Our sponge is a traditional recipe using eggs, sugar and Flour, sometimes called a fatless sponge. This has an open texture with a more delicate flavour as distinct from our Maderia recipe which has a denser texture and a richer chocolate flavour. You will get more servings from a Maderia cake and the shelf life of a Maderia cake is longer.

What option do I have for Inscription Colour and text?

Our standard inscription colors are included in the drop down box but a custom colour can be requested at an extra charge of €3. When selecting a custom colour please describe the colour you need in the special requests prompt. We will do our best to provide the text color you request.

An inscription is included in the costs. We reserve the right to refuse potentially offensive messages. Please check your spelling, and use text only. Your inscription will go on the cake exactly as entered and is limited to a maximum of 35 characters.
